At The Prestigious International Hope Book Awards (PIHBA), the President’s Choice Award is a distinguished honor reserved

for authors whose impact extends beyond the written page.

This recognition celebrates not only exceptional storytelling, but the way an author consistently lives, embodies,

and shares the message of hope through their character, conduct, and influence.

✨ Only one author is selected each month.

✨ Authors do not need to submit repeatedly.
To be eligible for consideration, authors must submit once to the President’s Choice Award category and also submit a standard category of their choice. Once this initial submission has been completed, no further submissions are required for continued consideration.

From that point forward, the President observes with care and discernment—looking beyond the pages of a book to recognize authors who uplift others, demonstrate integrity, and consistently inspire hope through their words, actions, and presence within the literary and global community.

The President’s Choice Award is granted only when an author genuinely stands out in both character and impact. It is not awarded based on frequency of submission, popularity, or promotion, but on authenticity, consistency, and the lived values reflected in one’s work and life.

We warmly encourage all authors to submit their standard category of choice with confidence. Those whose work and conduct align with the heart and mission of the Hope Awards may, in time, be considered for this exceptional distinction.
